Das Optimieren von Fotos ist nicht so einfach. Das kostenlose Onlintool names Compressor hilft dabei, die Dateigröße von Fotos auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren. Das Schöne daran ist, Sie benötigen überhaupt keine Vorkenntnisse was das Optimieren von Fotos betrifft.

Das Tool rechnet Bilder und Fotos auf ein Minimum herunter. Ohne weitere Einstellmöglichkeiten wird stets ein gutes Ergebnis erreicht. Man kann es auf der Website direkt nach dem Renderingvorgang überprüfen und wird sogar auf die Verkleinerung in % aufmerksam gemacht.

So geht´s
Die Vorgehensweise ist ganz einfach. Man lädt ein Foto hoch, wartet bis der Balken voll ist, schaut sich das Ergebnis an und entscheidet ob man das Foto runterladen, in die Dropbox, oder in Google Drive laden möchte. Alternativ kann man direkt mit dem Scannen eines anderen Fotos anfangen.

Ergebnis
Das Tool ist sehr einfach aufgebaut. Das Ergebnis, also die Optimierung der Fotos auf eine kleinere Dateigröße ist in unseren Tests stets einwandfrei gewesen.

Fazit
Leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit Bilder und Fotos vorab zu beschneiden, bzw. auf ein anderes Maß zu bringen. Dieser Vorgang gehört für mich aber dazu wenn ich Fotos für das Web, zum verschicken oder z.B. für die massenhafte Lagerung benötige. Einem Anfänger der sein neues CMS bestücken soll, ist dieses Tool von daher nur bedingt geeignet. Für das reine Runterrechnen von Dateigrößen ist das Tool allerdings bestens geeignet. Eine Desktopvariante ist in Planung, vielleicht bringt die ja das Beschneiden der Fotos mit?!
